Steve Almonte

Steve Almonte is
the sole proprietor of the Cape Cod Baseball Club, Inc.
As a player Steve earned his degree in Recreation and
Leisure Services at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg,
Florida, Steve helped lead the nationally-ranked
baseball Tritons from ‘78-‘79 and played for the Y-D Red
Sox in the Cape Cod League from ‘76-‘78.
Steve began his coaching career early and has since had
professional coaching experience in Utrecht, Holland and
in every level of amateur baseball including Div. I, II,
and III in college, American Legion, Sr. Babe Ruth, Babe
Ruth and in high school. He has been involved in MA AAU
Baseball since 1994 and has been a Team Manager every
year since, covering every age division from 10-U to
16-U and earning seven State Gold Medals, two State
Silver Medals, and at the AAU Division I National
Championships an 8th place finish, a 16th
place finish, and two 17th place finishes.
He has overseen well over fifty team’s participation in
National Tournaments since 1994. His love of baseball is
evident as he brings a boundless level of knowledge,
effort, enthusiasm, organization, communication, and
professionalism to every aspect of the sport.
